The flag today is up and blowing....on all the porches
the poles
the parades
Millions of Dollars are spent on Fireworks........
To CELEBRATE ~ " The United States of America's Freedom "
1 Peter 2:16
" LIVE......LIVE as FREE MEN..............
but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil;
LIVE......LIVE as servants of GOD."
We are celebrating today....the deaths and the lives of those who have
GALANTLY...BRAVELY...WILLINGLY....layed or lay their lives on the FRONT LINE.
But are we living.....truly living in what they have died to give us ?
Freedom to worship GOD, pray, read His Word where ever we desire?
Freedom to go to church...when ever we want to...
Freedm to play our Worship songs when and where ever we want to....
It all falls on us...."LIVE AS FREE MEN".....
" do not use it for evil " - freedom to marry the same sex
freedm to dabble in this or that
freedom to not " assembly ourselves"
" Live as servants of GOD"
HIS FLAG - what truly represents our freedom in Christ ?
The Shed blood of JESUS...........
we can not put it on a pole...
we can not design banners.....or goofy streamers....or fireworks...
IT HAS TO RUN IN OUR VEINS...
IT HAS TO FILL OUR SOULS...
IT HAS TO BE EXUDED from our hearts.....
THIS FREEDOM IN CHRIST....sets us free from HELL
set us free from the LAW
set us free to be compelled to serve, worship, HONOR & obey....
" Let FREEDOM RING ?"
"I pray this JULY 4th....this next year....
we as born again, blood stained Christians, we , we will voluntarily serve
to be on the front line.....fight , worship, love , serve....what ever..."
I pray today, I get on my knees and thank the LORD for my freedom..
for my Mom's freedom, for my families freedom...for freedom for all who seek HIM"
